Intro: Dinosaurs ruled the Earth for over 160 million years, from the Triassic period about 230 million years ago all through the Jurassic period and until the ending of the Cretaceous period, about 65 million years ago. Well that's a lot of time indeed, especially for us, people, who think that are almighty and everything has begun with us. Actually with our 100-year-max life spans, human beings aren't perfectly adapted to comprehend "deep time," as geologists call it. Modern humans have just been present for a few hundred thousand years, and human civilization just got going around 10,000 years ago, simple blinks of the eye by Jurassic time scales...
